On the official visitors guide for Durham, in North Carolina, they have a slogan that says, “Where great things happen.” Well, for me, something great happened when I met Rebbie Jackson on April 9, 2011, at The Hayit Heritage Center, which is part of the “Pick Up The Phone Tour.” Please check out this post for my magical moment with Mrs. Rebbie Jackson. On a side note, I would like to thank the people of Durham for their southern hospitality and enhancing this experience. I would also like to thank Mrs. Rebbie Jackson’s team for reaching out to me. I had the Canon SX20 and AA batteries lasted me 1 hour 5 minutes, and the largest video clip was 20 minutes, if you could share, thanks in advance, and excuse my poor English
@GadgetTrish I’m sure your next Jackson will be super nice! They’re such a special and charming family. If I’m low all I need to do is see one of them for like 3 or 5 minutes and I’m in a better mood!

There was a lot a personal drama going on that week, and I wasn’t going to go, but I’m glad I did because it help me leave my worries behind for a minute. I have no idea who is going to be the next Jackson, but I hope they are as nice as the first 3.

@OneSmoothDiva When I comes to the Jackson’s you just don’t know how you are going to meet next. You know if they come to NYC, I will be one of the first in line for whatever they do.
@GadgetTrish If Jermaine does a big tour for his book, it might be him. Then again, Tito has an album coming out, so he might be popping up places to promote it. However, Jackie has done a song with his son Dealz (“That’s How I Feel”) that needs promoting, so you might get to see two Jacksons at one time
(three if Jermaine is with them). You might even Marlon or Randy. Who knows, maybe they’re putting together something as we speak

@MrBluesradio62 I loved North Carolina especially because of the people. I live in NYC and they are not vey nice here. I’m not saying everyone in NYC is mean, but there is nothing like southern hospitality. I really hope to return to NC and I will do my best to bring a Jackson with me (smile).
